A Florida man, Michael M. Wiseman, was arrested on Friday for making threats against former President Donald Trump, his running mate JD Vance, and their families, according to the Jupiter Police Department
The arrest came after an investigation into written threats made on social media, which were reported through online crime tips and in-person concerns from residents.
The arrest follows a recent assassination attempt on Trump at a Pennsylvania rally, leading to increased patrols and a call for citizens to report suspicious activity.
The Jupiter Police Department worked with the U.S. Secret Service to investigate and apprehend Wiseman without incident.
