The Talmud

The Talmud is a vast literary work written by Jewish Rabbis that contains civil and religious law. It is not a part of the inspired sacred Scripture. The Palestinian Talmud was written in the 3rd century AD, while the Babylonian Talmud was written around 500 AD. It contains discussions concerning every aspect of Jewish life and thought. The Talmud was written by Jewish Rabbis who were men of 'perverse minds and destitute of the truth'.
Concerning the names of Jesus, the Talmud refers to Him as:

    * Immach Schemo Vezikro which means, "May His name and memory be blotted out."
    * Otho Isch = "That man"
    * Peloni = "A certain one"
    * Naggar Bar Naggar = "The carpenter son of a carpenter"
    * Ben Charsch etaim = "The son of a wood worker"
    * Talui = "The one who was hanged"

Concerning Christ Himself, the Talmud accuses Him of being:

    * Illegitimate
    * Possessed by the soul of Esau and being Esau himself.
    * A fool and insane
    * A conjurer and a magician
    * An idolater
    * A seducer
    * Crucified For His crimes
    * Buried in Hell
    * Wrongfully worshipped
    * An idol

The Talmud condemns the teaching of Christ as follows:

    * Falsehood
    * Heresy
    * Impossible to observe
    * Illegitimate
    * Possessed by the soul of Esau and being Esau himself.
    * A fool and insane
    * A conjurer and a magician
    * An idolater
    * A seducer
    * Crucified For His crimes
    * Buried in Hell
    * Wrongfully worshipped
    * An idol

The Talmud condemns the teaching of Christ as follows:

    * Falsehood
    * Heresy
    * Impossible to observe

"...He came unto his own, and his own received him not. John 1:11

...because The Christ spoke the truth which exposes their sin and lit their heart with fire...they could not see what to accuse him of...they started with flimsy and trivial issues. They even went as far to ask for the release of a notorious murderer to them...and crucify him...yet he was found to be innocent...

v24 "...When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.
v25. Then answered all the people [The Jews], and said, His blood be on us, and on our children...

...and that innocent blood they shed...has been hunting them and their children ever since... Cool

And here am I thinking that the Romans were responsible for that!

BTW, a quick web search later...

The Talmud unmasked (Latin: Christianus in Talmud Iudaeorum: sive, Rabbinicae doctrinae Christiani secreta) is book written in 1892 by Justinas Bonaventure Pranaitis (1861–1917). The book, generally regarded as antisemitic, is a collection of quotes from the Talmud and Zohar which purports to demonstrate that Judaism despises non-Jews and promotes the murder of non-Jews. While most of the quotes are accurate, some are fabricated, and others are taken out of context. Pranaitis could not read Aramaic or Hebrew (the languages of the Talmud), and probably used works by August Rohling and others as his sources. Various elements tend to prove that the author, whose incompetence will be established unambiguous at the time of the Beilis trial, ignores the rabbinical literature which he intends to describe, unlike other Christian polemists from which he largely borrows. Pranaitis was not able to read Aramaic, the primary language of the Talmud, and so he relied primarily on the works of Jakob Ecker and August Rohling.

The Talmud unmasked, is actually a misleading and inaccurate book, presenting false quotations of the Talmud, intended inter alia making believe that the Jews would not regard the not-Jews as human beings and that it would conceal blasphemous towards Jesus-Christ and offensive passages towards the Christians. This work is comparable with The Protocols of the Elders of Zion...

The book includes numerous quotes from the Talmud and the Zohar, and Pranaitis presents the Zohar as if it were part of the Talmud, however the Zohar is a thirteenth century Kabbalistic work and is not part of the Talmud. His ignorance of some simple Talmudic aramaic concepts and definitions, such as "hullin" has been demonstrated during the Menahem Mendel Beilis blood libel case in which he testified as a "Talmud expert".

BTW, Cadanre; posting multiple threads on one topic is classic Trolling.

Wikipedia is better than the blogosphere, and absent any other source, I'll go with Wiki.

Hmmm.
Why this 'distrust' of Wiki, apart from that it permits people to learn and inform themselves?

Here's a Christian blog which aims to refute the OPer's idea the Jews killed Jesus:

And another source:

Quote
What Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are intent on providing is not historical truth but something more elusive, and far more important for the early Christians, the religious meaning of the events in question. As a result, the descriptions of the last days of Jesus differ from Gospel to Gospel. As one example, while in the other gospels Jesus is virtually silent during his Roman trial, the Gospel of John has him speaking at length to Pilate.
