In the third world abortion may not be available on demand but in the West, a good number of these abortion clinics are government-funded out of tax payers' sweat. Majority of ordinary citizens oppose their tax money being used to fund 'killing of defenceless life'.

Go for ur carrier bt dnt abort, a baby can in no way jeopardise a carrier
many nanny houses home n abroad that can take care of grown up lest a baby!

I think her chief concern was she travelled extensively which formed a substantial part of her perks and also that her rising profile in line for legal services director would be seriously affected. Besides this, has a woman first right over her body?

Ladies who are up in arms defending women's rights, consider that apart from third world countries, in Western Europe abortion-on-demand clinics are heavily funded by central government. In my view this encourages laxity and moral decadence. Why? If a woman has to pay for it, she will think twice before segxwal indulgence. This is therefore a poor use of public fund.

Funding abortion is no different from funding a war in the Mideast. For those who are opposed, the place to express outrage is in the voting booth.

Again very good reasoning beautiful Rose, but unfortunately those who choose abortions are often minors or young women with insufficient life experience to understand fully what they are doing. Many have lifelong regrets afterwards.

@ gibsonpally, beautiful exchange from you but remember that teenagers who become mothers have grim prospects for the future. They are much more likely to drop out of school; receive inadequate prenatal care; rely on public assistance to raise a child; develop health problems; or end up divorced. It is therefore proper to spare them that terrible life experience and to achieve this, abortion is the best option.
