How can one Fight Loneliness?

Loneliness an unpleasant feeling in which a person feels a strong sense of emptiness and solitude resulting from inadequate levels of social relationships.

While happy, some people still incredibly lonely and feels hopeless about meeting someone who can fill that void in his/her life. She/he wants to replace those thoughts with something positive.

How can one really fight loneliness
