Photos: Nigerians in Malaysia protest maltreatment by Malaysian police

Nigerians residing in Malaysia today April 15th staged a peaceful protest at the Nigerian House in Malaysia to register their displeasure at the way they are being treated by Malaysian police and the embassy's non-nonchalant attitude towards their maltreatment.

 
The protesters accused the Malaysian police of extortion, abuse and torture of Nigerians.
 
They accused the Nigerian Ambassador and the Nigerian embassy officials of being insensitive to their plight, encouraging the Malaysian police to continually maltreat them. They also accused the consulate officials of not helping to renew their passports or issue new ones. Continue to see more photos...

i don't really understand why mostly Nigerians are being maltreated in many places in this planet,all these happen to Nigerians, its boc of our behaviors,racism or its boc of the failure of Nigeria govt that is making other world looking down on Nigerians,especially Asia continents,put to my perspective,we Nigerians we are such in hurry to make money by all mist ,either in home or abroad ,in Finland the other time complained and stop given Nigerians visa ,boc when come through student visa,many ll forget about their study and start pursuing money and totally abandoned their study.

Some Nigerians deserve d kind of treatment dey get abroad. Dey re in too much in a hurry 2 get rich,drive d latest cars,etc.

Nigerians in Malaysia today took to the streets and confronted Nigerian embassy officials at the Nigerian Embassy on No.85 Jalan Ampang Hilir 55000 Kuala Lumpur over what the protesters said was extortion, torture and abuse of Nigerian nationals in Malaysia by its police and immigration officers.

 The protesters carried placards denouncing the activities of the Malaysian police. When they came in contact with embassy officials they condemned the nonchalant attitude of officials in the Nigerian consulate. They accused the officials of refusing to issue or renew their passports when needed. They said the ambassador has completely abandoned them to their fate leaving the Malaysian police to mistreat Nigerian nationals in the country.

So the Malaysian police deal in extortion, abuse and torture of Nigerians.

Thats sad especially as these Nigerians LEFT Nigeria to ESCAPE the EXACT SAME MALTREATMENT they suffered at the hands of the NIGERIA POLICE.

Its like living in an EXTENSION of Panti Police!

WHAT YOU PEOPLE WILL DO IS TO COME HOME AND KILL ANY MALAYSIAN NATIONAL IN NIGERIA,BURN DOWN THE EMBASSY,MANY OF OUR BOYS AND GIRLS HAVE BEEN KILLED IN MALAYSIA AND NOBODY TALK,,,,,OUR MALAYSIAN EMBASSY IS AN IDIOT BECAUSE MALAYSIAN IMMIGRATION GIVE HIM MONEY.....ANY MALAYSIAN IN NIGERIA SHOULD BE KILLED......PAY BACK TIME,IT IS TOO MUCH
