What does a candle lose when it lights another candle?
This place is called Naijapals, in other words Nigerian Friends. On this very forum, we have discussed what a true friend is. This site is meant for friends and friends are supposed to uplift friends and not bring them down. Friends are supposed to motivate friends and not give them reasons to feel bad.
Unfortunately I (am sure you too)have watched some people on this site do all in their power to bring others down with their posts and comments (without any apology whatsoever). That got me wondering, what does such person(s) gain from trying to condemn others while claiming saint?
I am saying that before you bring anyone down with your posts and comments, please read Romans 2:1-4 and Romans 3:9-12. Let the fighting stop on NP, let one candle light another because I cant still see what a candle would lose when it lights another.

Left for the wise to understand the meaning !! Some people always come up here as if they're dragging the Local Govt chairman post with another. Too many curses, abusive words, ugly names and so on.. I ask again here Maka why is all that happening? Why would somebody just log in here to abuse another for no reason. It doesn't represent a good NP family or A true Naija we're suppose to show to others.
We should learn to practice what we preach !!

Some people are born haters! How else can one explain lashing out at others for no just cause??? It's just so unfair.... Would it hurt 2 give a sincere compliment once in a while? DP,I just tire!

I dont know oo......but Light someone's candle today, it wont reduce your own candle........because a single act of generosity (kind words included) is like a pebble thrown into a pond that creates widening wave of goodness for ourselves and others

Great post and wonderful comments as well....... but u see this is a society where u can obtain different characters Its an internet world and sometimes these guys that insult each other might get to make good friends in the real world For me i don't insult but i enjoy reading the fight comments, find it interesting & funny so let the fight continue

We all should learn to encourage one another, Do you realize the power in the words !! If you do, then i'm sure your words are been heard and echo in some many people's life that read from this forum. You could change someone out there, someone who is lost in between things of this life, so many wants to change and be who they really dream to be. You shouldn't weigh them down with your words in black & white but encourage them, give them hope and reason to fight ahead towards the changing channel.
The finest gift you can give to anyone is encouragement. Yet, almost no one gets the encouragement they need to grow to their full potential. If everyone received the encouragement they need to grow, the genius in most of us would blossom and the world would produce abundance beyond the wildest dreams. We would have countless great people in our society. Just through the power of words ! Do what you can, no matter where you are, give the best with what you have to one another here, don't discourage others, don't criticize them, no matter what ! be a shoulder they should lean on.

well i have analysed it and come to the conclusion that some people on here find it joy to use abusive words to try and degrade others..but one thing they fail to understand is that,the number of people watching you here with those ugly words is directly proportional to the stupidity of your action..they need to grow up and behave like an adult i believe they are..but don't expect change, it's not going to happen bcuz it's in their Blood!!
