Quote from: EdoSandra on 14-05-2012 09:35 PM When we hear people called us (Benin) girls prostitutes, we flare-up. Do we need to be part of the nonsense because other tribes are doing it too. u are a stupid woman...get a life How many of us is aware of a program aired by Al-Jazeera News Network concerning the route of prostitution in Nigeria? The presenter did not go to any other state but Edo state, Benin City to be precise. How many of know about this and stood against it? The whole world watched the program and believed it's only Benin girls that are into prostitution in Nigeria. If we don't wash ourself clean off these stupid acts, the stigma will remain there forever. For whoever cares to see what Al-Jazeera aired about us, here is the link...... http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DtMef3Xt0IHk%26feature%3Dshare&h=gAQGDE8A5AQFR2b54bzPfWBiA_gB6o7fxpuJbIo_2rieb0w LOVE COMES TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN IT...LET TALK ABOUT LOVE.

I know my people so well that whatever any of them is saying, it's not new to me..... ReplyBut why would a sane young fellow be supporting something as disgusting as "SLAVERY", pretending to be protecting his/her state or tribe? One thing is for sure, people on this particular thread are not stupid. It's unfortunate that those who are protecting the ruins shall account for nothing but a total ruin. I implore everyone that's not from my state (Edo State) not to think or group us all together that it's the entire great Edo people that embraces "PROSTITUTION". And, I'ld like to call people's attention to something here... I beg y'all, the best answer to the likes of "STEVE222's comment" on this issue is silence!

I can't blame them anyway, the way one interacts publicly explains his/her upbringing. Back to your comment my sister, truely Nigeria has a very big problem but people are dying of famine in Niger Republic, there has been a heavy war in Somalia for more than 30 years, they don't have anything to rely on in Chad Republic and some other African countries but their young girls are not into pronounced prostitution the way we Nigerian girls dominated it all over the world. Let's ask ourselves one strategical question: "If one dies as a prostitute, what report would she give at the gate of heaven?" I want you to answer this question because in Italy here, we have cases of Nigerian girls that are continuously getting killed every other day as they go about prostituting. I think it is high time we start orientating our young ones not to get carried away and become a victim like some of us.... A candle does not loose any of its light by lighting others.......... God will even be happy with us by doing that not to be accusing one another for going against an evil act!
